Remember Summer Reading Programs at the Public Library?  Once you finished school, you (or your children) went to the library to sign up, set a reading goal and took home a pile of books. When you reached your goal, you got a prize.

Good Things for a Full Life is hosting a Summer Reading Club to bring out the kid in all of us! It will also celebrate the launch of our online Good Things Community, where we can engage and exchange ideas about career, success, networking and living a full life.

Interested in being part of the conversation?  To get started:

Sign up:  Visit the Good Things Facebook Group and ask to become a member of this closed community.

Set a “Summer Reading Goal”:  What do you want to be different for you as a result of participating? What will your prize be for engaging in the conversation?

Join the conversation:

  • We’re not going to read a pile of books in our club – we’re after quality, not quantity. Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll go deep on 4 critical chapters of the book. Each chapter discussion will last for 2 weeks, with additional posts and good questions to keep the conversation going.
  • If you already have a copy of  Good Things for a Full Life , dust it off. If not, we’ll post links to the critical chapters to be discussed.
  • Get acquainted with the book’s purpose and structure by reading this brief introduction.

Official start for Summer Reading Club is Friday, June 13, when a link to our first chapter and a couple of Good Questions will be posted.

And for those of you who like prizes…the first 5 people to sign up will join me for a group conference call!
